Psalms 31:19-20  Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have done for those seeking refuge in You before people! You will hide them in the secret of Your presence from conspirators; You will keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues.

Father, you are a great God and greatly to be praise. Your power is unlimited and there is nothing hidden from your eyes. You inhabit the praises of your people; therefore, I shout praises to you Most High God. Hallelujah! I thank you for hiding me in your presence from the pride of man. I thank you for keeping in your pavilion from the strife of men’s tongues! Every tongue that rises against me in judgment I will condemn because you Father has given me that authority and right. Father, I thank you for your wisdom.  You told me to not to engage in a conversation with anyone who is contentious and to be slow to anger so it can appease strife. I follow your wisdom and it blesses my life. When I encounter word pressures, I pause, think, and then act. I respond in a manner that is inline with your word. Thank you for teaching me your ways so I can know how to speak a word to those who are weary. Thank you, Lord, for giving me a well-watered word that will quench every fiery tongue that rise against me in Jesus Name!
